AB de Villiers- AB the Vivacious.

The best ever cricketer in South Africa, of the planet, of the galaxy, of the universe, of the Multiverse.

You can't just stop him. It's impossible. When on song, his lyrics can be bone-chillers for the horrified bowlers. By the way, he's an amazing singer too. And a swimming record-breaker too. And a rugby champ as well. A quick runner also. Smart at badminton, awesome at tennis and absolutely a pro at football. He is........

AB DE VILLIERS!

"The finest cricketer of his generation." quoted by King Kohli. (Virat Kohli, I call him as 'Viking' too 'cause he's brave just like a Viking and his name sounds similar too)"The most valuable cricketer on the planet." Adam Gilchrist. "Genius" Ricky Ponting. "I demand a DNA test of AB de Villiers. As only humans are allowed to play cricket." These are Aakash Chopra's words. "There is nothing which AB de Villiers can't do on the cricket field." by the brilliant cricket analyst, Harsha Bhogle.

I can't agree more with these greats. Especially Harsha Bhogle. What is it that AB de Villiers can't do? Here are a few instances where Aakash Chopra is proved true-

EXAMPLE 1

The day AB de Villiers scored 149 runs off a meagre 44 balls, against West Indies in 2015. He scored his hundred of 31 balls, breaking Corey Anderson's record (a New Zealand all-rounder) which was a century off 36 balls, against the selfsame West Indies. He hit 16 sixes and 8 fours within 44 balls! I can't even do that in Gully Cricket! He hit so many outrageous shots, those too on 150kmph deliveries! Such as-

EXAMPLE 2

The day he scored 43 off 298 deliveries in a test match against India, in Ahmedabad. South Africa was destined to lose this match, if not for the Superman of Cricket, our beloved ABD! He defended, defended, defended and defended so much that South Africa turned this match into a draw! Ravindra Jadeja bowled 34 maiden overs! South Africa scored only 148 of 148 overs! But, all of that was OK as far as South Africa didn't lose! And from those 43 runs, AB scored 6 boundaries too! Tedious work!!

Guys, it would be unbelievably kind of you if you check out my 2 poems on AB de Villiers, which are written right here-

Nay; give up on stoppin' him

Instead, just go to the restroom and give your beard a trim

Of shots, he has got his own plethora

Running in to bowl to him, is equivalent to opening the box of Pandora

On as well as off the field, he's an all-rounder

With his shots, he is an astounder

Always a leader... Never a follower

Occasionally, can also be a medium-fast bowler

Very humble, and down-to-earth

His kindness and warmth make one feel as if he's sitting next to his home's hearth

Always active on the field

Opposition players have to keep their eyes peeled!

The day he told international cricket goodbye

I screamed with anguish, and for an hour I did cry!

He's a wonderful fielder too

He can just leap and take a catch; leaving the batsman without any clue

Superman and ABD

And even Mr.360

Are his nicknames

ABD also loves playing board games!

At the end, telling only one thing I can afford:

If Cricket is a religion, then ABD is the God!

SCIENCE vs NATURE.. What would I choose??

Hello my dear friends! Actually, as Online School has started, I haven't got enough time to write any blog. Sorry for that! So, today I'm presenting you my opinion on this debate named Science versus Nature. Read on!How can we manipulate the thing because of which we exist, how can we manipulate the truth of life and most importantly how can we betray Mother Nature? Betraying, manipulating, tricking and marring the things which are already perfect, flawless and need no change in it, and that too doing such a thing to the one who has created you? I strongly believe that trying to inculcate science in nature and living beings is wrong, and the perfect way to call this is ‘Gilding the Lily’.

Two prodigious stalwarts, separated by eras of time, met together in the modern day, Science, the one out to break the stereotypes of man and constricted rules of natural environment whereas the other, Nature, the real essence of life, cause for me able to type in this gizmo, cause for you and me and most importantly cause for science to exist. The reason for everything. Science versus Nature, a highly controversial debate, fought amongst each and every nook and corner of the planet Earth, is the topic for today.

In this debate, I am an avowed supporter of Mother Nature. A perfect example for this debate can be a student and a teacher. The teacher teaches the student basic mathematics when the student is quite young, in about kindergarten. Once the student gets smarter at studies, the student is out to prove his teacher wrong and create his own mathematical theory. One word can be chosen for this can be ‘Disrespect’ according to me. The nature, because of which we exist and are able to live, and now people are out to break and breach the laws of nature? Where’s the respect? A couple of precise examples for this debate can be the Chimera Debate and the movie Jurassic Park.

Another point can be risk. No doubt, “Taking no risk is the largest risk”, but this is life, and playing around with life is the biggest risk according to me. It is said that human cells are found in goat’s livers, and scientists are trying to develop some particular human characteristics in goats. Even though it may not be the most sensible of all questions, but ‘what if’ scientists perform some kind of blunder or make the silliest of errors in a task in which errors are unforgivable? What if trying to combine characteristics of humans in goats creates some real deadly combination and makes a terrifying man-killing creature? A thousand more questions can rise up starting with the inevitable words ‘What if?’.

But, in one point, science is correct too. It is human psychology to keep on innovating, inventing and creating things that make life easier, more compatible and in short, better. Research plays an integral role in our life, because it yields knowledge and as they say, “Knowledge is Power”.

These ‘what ifs’ can give practically anything in the whole wide world. If science weren’t there, would we be able to know even the names of the animals around us? Beyond doubt because of nature animals, plants and most importantly we humans are alive, but how would we know each other with science and research? It’s like, nature has given us the whole cake, but science is doing the icing. Flying rockets, spaceships, space shuttles are all fine, but I believe that humans shouldn’t get carried away by science.

Overall, I’d like to conclude by giving another very good example: computers, with nature being the output devices whereas science being the input ones. Will the computer be ever able to function flawlessly and smoothly without any of these two? Research, research, research is all okay but what will we do of research if there is no nature? How much will we input information in the computer if there is no monitor at all? What would we have done if there wouldn’t be science? We would be still make a living, barely making ends meet with raw and uncooked fruits and vegetables and going crazy scratching stones for fire. We would be able to see the output (i.e. life) but what will we be able to do without any keyboard?

Life would exist without science, but the current generation can’t even imagine the difficulties without any inventions to make life even more facile. Science and nature are both reliable and depending sources for life. Still, at the end, my unwavering support for Mother Nature will always be abiding at the bottom of my heart.

This is where I'll go post Lockdown........

WHERE WILL I GO POST LOCKDOWN??

The only way to treat Coronavirus is staying at home. At the same time, excitement is boiling in each and every one’s heart to move out of home and just explore. And so, the place I would love to travel first after Lockdown will be Mahabaleshwar.

Going the analytics way, economy and environment are inversely proportional. And so, no doubt that economy is going low, we will be able to take the real fun of nature.

Lush green grass, myriad trees, heighted hills and marvellous mountains make all but a sight filled with beauty for the eyes.

Having deep slumber inside the train in the lower berth for ten hours and then opening my eyes at 6am, with arms outstretched and looking out of the window, with my first sight setting on the rising sun and the simple essence of nature. But until then, I am just stuck at home lying on the sofa!

So this was all for today. And hey! Do check out my YouTube channel, where books are reviewed like none other! Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUYlk5iGjQ3K3EaL_73kM3A

Now, it’s time to say Cheerios. But do keep on reading my blogs, Mis Amigos!

The Darker Side Of Cricket

"Each coin has two sides" rightly coined by anonymous. One side, you see the value of the coin, the image of a great person, when it was minted, it's symbol or emblem, but there are many times when us, people, haven't bothered to look at the other side of the coin.

The same thing is happening with the sport Cricket. It is known as the world's second most played game, but still, a darker side to it still exists which destroys the game. And so, I have written a poem about this darker side of cricket.

The Darker side of Cricket

Cricket is sport of great zest and flair

But even darkness has its share

There is also another world, which we never bothered to stare

This world can be cricketer’s nightmare

Is each decision of the umpire totally fair?

It there only and only oxygen in the air?

Corruption and spot fixing is the vicious pair

Which this sport has to forcefully bear

This matter can’t be considered as a puny strand of hair

We do need to take care

Gambling, fixing and cheating lies in the game’s fate

The Gentleman’s game is not in gentle state

All these things restrain the sport from being immaculate

Can the sport still compensate?

Is it really great

To earn money by using malice and hate?

All of this is a big debate

Which has drowned hundreds of cricketers till date

Hopefully we can open the gate

For positivity & honesty – it’s soulmate

Hopefully soon we will clean the untidy slate

Never is worse than late!

There are, luckily, many organisations who strictly condemn the practise of cheating, betting, fixing and bias and the cricketers who practise that, are reprimanded from the game for a long period. So, still, we can improve the game and get rid of these negative activities.

So this blog was all about the Darker Side Of Cricket. You can suggest me what can I write next about. Cheerios, and keep on reading my blogs, Mis Amigos!! Hey! Haven't you checked out my YouTube channel? Then why not?! Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUYlk5iGjQ3K3EaL_73kM3A

Earthquake

Natural disasters and calamities are a huge problem, aren't they? Destroying habitats, killing people and animals, and then, lastly, leaving everything in a ramshackled condition and going away. And so, today, his blog is going to be all about one of the most perilous calamity- Earthquakes. Read on!

Earthquake

The Earth started shaking its torso. The buildings trembled. People ran for their lives. The ground started breaking its virtual shackles. Everything above the ground shimmied and collided with it. There were gigantic cracks on the road, in which all vehicles fell. Homes, bungalows, mansions, apartments, buildings, all fell to their knees within the blink of an eye. Men, women and children screamed for some aid. Animals gave out heavy cries and tried to escape, only to find themselves trapped. Dogs barked and howled with an intention to find their family. The disaster continued doing its harm for about two minutes, and then all of a sudden, mercy was bestowed. Everything screeched to a halt. But after all, the harm had been done, so all people could do was to bite the bullet. Hundreds of lives lost, hundreds of creatures breathed their last breath, building and shops ramshackled and millions of money lost. And there I was with my family, seated in a helicopter saved by the Air Force of India, amidst the silhouette of death casting on the city.

So this blog was all about a terrifying earthquake. You can surely recommend me about which topic can I write next about. Cheerios, and keep on reading my blogs, Mis Amigos!! And hey! Lockdown- Positive Impacts Of Staying At Home

There is one very active controversy around the world right now- and that is the Coronavirus. It has claimed thousands of lives, but yet, there is no proper medicine for it. But, there is one way in which we can stop this phantom named Corona haunting the world; staying at home. So, to know more about the positive impacts of staying at home, keep reading on.

LOCKDOWN- POSITIVE IMPACTS OF BEING AT HOME

Diseases. This term can cause the most thick-skinned man’s blood run cold. It is known as an embodiment of anxiety, terror and a bone-chilling experience for whoever is going through it and can also cause a plethora of anguish for his loved ones.

The most recent name added to the list of deadly diseases is COVID19. As on date, it has spread across almost 180 countries, and shoved more than 300,000 people in the black hole named death.

Pundits say the only solution to put a barricade in front of this menace is - LOCKDOWN. It can help stop spreading the disease. The lockdown has affected the world economy adversely. However, there are many benefits for residing in one’s abode. It can help the environment to a great extent. One thing’s for sure - environment and economy are inversely proportional. While one’s condition gets better, the other’s worsens. Recently many wild animals were discovered within city limits, freely sauntering without human disturbance. Many people are tensed, thinking that staying at home all the time will make them ‘restless’. But, we finally understood how animals feel in the zoo.

Another benefit of lockdown is that pollution is reduced drastically. Be it of air, water or even noise. PM 2.5 is a dreadful air pollutant, which is emitted by vehicles has snatched countless lives, and reason for one-sixth of premature deaths. The PM 2.5 has decreased significantly since the last few days, which has saved nearly 77,000 lives across the globe. Numerous lakes which had been plagued by pollution have turned into beauty-rich and crystal-clear sources of water, without investing money that too in no time. Even noise pollution is reduced, which claims multiple lives and deafens many animals.

Ultimately, we come to family bonding and personal growth. Generally people complain that they don’t get enough ‘family time’ and time to ‘unwind’. But, this lockdown has given opportunity to bond with the families. One can sharpen their skills in a particular subject and hobbies for which they didn’t get enough time in their hectic schedules. One can catch-up with friends, through modern gizmos. One can work on their physical fitness too. One can stay home, happily too.

COVID19 has broken many hearts emotionally as well as financially but still, there is a ray of hope. Staying home is beyond doubt the only and the best remedy. To conclude, I’d like to say: “Each cloud has a silver lining”. Stay home, stay safe!

At the end, I would just like to conclude with four words- STAY HOME, STAY SAFE!

So that was all for the day. And hey! Do check out my YouTube channel Infinite ISH, the link is right here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUYlk5iGjQ3K3EaL_73kM3A. So now its time to say Cheerios. But keep on reading my blogs, Mis Amigos!
