Hello friends! Today, I was bored. I so wanted to write something! And so, then thoughts poured in. And so, I wrote a poem on boredom during Lockdown. Read on!
The Corona Virus: a biological atom bomb
Others call it a haunting phantom
Which sends people directly to their tomb
Going to public places to fetch it will be rather dumb
So then, Government imposed this Lockdown
Which no doubt has made people frown
People are stuck at their place
Oh man, what a disgrace!
“Why on Earth am I stuck in this one-horse town?”
“My wedding is cancelled, what can I do with my wedding gown?”
Man, the economy’s way too low
To the office one has to go
Men occupied in laptops; women busy kneading dough
The only people free now are the kitty and the crow
And the children too; keep scratching their brow
“Always HOP for the best” says the rabbit
“And P-REPAIR for the worst” tells the mechanic
“EGG-SPLORE your talents during Lockdown” advises the chick
All these people’s knowledge is lit
As the doctor says, “Precaution is better than cure
Be prepared, the lesser pain you’ll have to endure!
Always have a strong immunity
That’s the main nitty-gritty
And also, at all times be fit
No no, I don’t demand a six pack, but just tone your body a little bit
And also always keep handy a first-aid kit!
So this was my poem, hope it was funny
It includes adages form the mechanic to the bunny
So here I give the last advice
Listen to me carefully; I’ll tell you in a trice
“If your nose ever gets runny
Run to the doctor: reason this virus is very uncanny!”

Each of us require a pinch of humour in our lives. And especially during difficult and serious times like Corona, a good laugh is needed. And so, today, I present you one of my funniest ever poem, named "Be Glad Your Mouth Is On Your Face". Read on for loads of sniggers and chortles!
Be glad your mouth is on your face
If no, then it would've been a disgrace
Thank God its not amongst your toes
Or else your voice would be heard from your lace
Imagine if it would be inside your nose
You would look like a freak
When you'd speak
Your voice would sound like French and Greek
Be satisfied its not on your knee
Or else when you'd fall down it would be a catastrophe
Be glad your mouth is on your face
Not at any other place!
Despite short, I'm sure this blog must've given you some real good laughs. So now, its time to say Cheerios. But do keep on reading my blogs, Mis Amigos! But hey! Amber- shaded leaves fall and crinkle on the ground
Slow rustling of dead leaves; can there be another more pleasant sound?
Birds chirping all day long
There cannot be a more melodious song!
Then, during the early hours of the day there are dew drops
There the drops lay, grazing the world from grass blade tops
Sometimes they can even land on the farmer's crops!
It follows you everywhere
If there is light, it has to be there
Nay, it ain't a person; shadow it is
More the brilliant light, the more prominently it exists!
So these are some of the most graceful features of nature- our endangered mother
So if you want to save our mother and her elegant features, buck up and take action, brother!
So this was all for today, friends. So now, its time to say Cheerios. But do keep on reading my blogs, Mis Amigos! And hey! Don't you know about my YouTube channel? Hello my dear friends! Actually, as Online School has started, I haven't got enough time to write any blog. Sorry for that! So, today I'm presenting you my opinion on this debate named Science versus Nature. Read on!How can we manipulate the thing
because of which we exist, how can we manipulate the truth of life and most
importantly how can we betray Mother Nature? Betraying, manipulating, tricking
and marring the things which are already perfect, flawless and need no change
in it, and that too doing such a thing to the one who has created you? I
strongly believe that trying to inculcate science in nature and living beings is
wrong, and the perfect way to call this is ‘Gilding the Lily’.
Two prodigious stalwarts, separated
by eras of time, met together in the modern day, Science, the one out to break
the stereotypes of man and constricted rules of natural environment whereas the
other, Nature, the real essence of life, cause for me able to type in this
gizmo, cause for you and me and most importantly cause for science to exist.
The reason for everything. Science versus Nature, a highly controversial
debate, fought amongst each and every nook and corner of the planet Earth, is
the topic for today.
In this debate, I am an avowed
supporter of Mother Nature. A perfect example for this debate can be a student and
a teacher. The teacher teaches the student basic mathematics when the student
is quite young, in about kindergarten. Once the student gets smarter at
studies, the student is out to prove his teacher wrong and create his own
mathematical theory. One word can be chosen for this can be ‘Disrespect’
according to me. The nature, because of which we exist and are able to live,
and now people are out to break and breach the laws of nature? Where’s the
respect? A couple of precise examples for this debate can be the Chimera Debate
and the movie Jurassic Park.
Another point can be risk. No
doubt, “Taking no risk is the largest risk”, but this is life, and playing
around with life is the biggest risk according to me. It is said that human
cells are found in goat’s livers, and scientists are trying to develop some
particular human characteristics in goats. Even though it may not be the most
sensible of all questions, but ‘what if’ scientists perform some kind of
blunder or make the silliest of errors in a task in which errors are
unforgivable? What if trying to combine characteristics of humans in goats creates
some real deadly combination and makes a terrifying man-killing creature? A
thousand more questions can rise up starting with the inevitable words ‘What
if?’.
But, in one point, science is
correct too. It is human psychology to keep on innovating, inventing and
creating things that make life easier, more compatible and in short, better.
Research plays an integral role in our life, because it yields knowledge and as
they say, “Knowledge is Power”.
These ‘what ifs’ can give practically
anything in the whole wide world. If science weren’t there, would we be able to
know even the names of the animals around us? Beyond doubt because of nature
animals, plants and most importantly we humans are alive, but how would we know
each other with science and research? It’s like, nature has given us the whole
cake, but science is doing the icing. Flying rockets, spaceships, space
shuttles are all fine, but I believe that humans shouldn’t get carried away by
science.
Overall, I’d like to conclude by
giving another very good example: computers, with nature being the output
devices whereas science being the input ones. Will the computer be ever able to
function flawlessly and smoothly without any of these two? Research, research,
research is all okay but what will we do of research if there is no nature? How
much will we input information in the computer if there is no monitor at all?
What would we have done if there wouldn’t be science? We would be still make a
living, barely making ends meet with raw and uncooked fruits and vegetables and
going crazy scratching stones for fire. We would be able to see the output
(i.e. life) but what will we be able to do without any keyboard?
Life would
exist without science, but the current generation can’t even imagine the
difficulties without any inventions to make life even more facile. Science and
nature are both reliable and depending sources for life. Still, at the end, my
unwavering support for Mother Nature will always be abiding at the bottom of my
heart.
